The ArcherArchers specialize in ranged combat with Bows and Arrows. This range gives them an advantage against stationary or slow monsters. On top of that, arrows have elemental properties, a huge boost when facing monsters. With these advantages, the Archer can end the fight before it even begins.
General class reference guide. ReClassic applies its own rebalance to several skills, so some builds and skills may differ from classic Ragnarok.
Standard Builds
The Archer's two classic paths are AGI (Flee and attack speed) and INT (damage with Arrow Repel and higher SP).

Becoming an Archer
Requirements: be a Novice, have learned all 9 Basic Skills and have spent all your skill points.
The Archer Guild is in the Archer Village in Payon (`payon_in02`).
Attention: the NPC also offers to change your job on the spot, no test needed. But you lose the Archer's Glove (DEX +5 and +10% EXP up to level 60), plus the bow and the arrows.
Step
What to do
1
Talk to the Guild Archer (payon_in02,64,71) and choose Take the test.
2
Gather logs. He evaluates the logs you bring by points (table below). You need 25 points or more.
3
Go back to him with the logs. He consumes all the logs in your inventory and promotes you.
You need 25 points. Examples: 5 Fine-grained Trunks (5×5 = 25), or 9 Solid Trunks (27), or 13 Barren Trunks (26), or 25 common Trunks.
Careful: it erases all the logs in your inventory, not just the ones you need. Don't bring extra logs if you want to keep them.
The number of arrows you get depends on the logs you turn in: Solid Trunks and Barren Trunks are worth 2 arrows each and common Trunks are worth 1. Bringing "bad" logs beyond the 25 points gives you more arrows.
Some of these materials also produce other types of arrows in the same use.

Notes
Payon Dungeon
Easy
Right outside the archer guild you'll find the Payon cave. Head there to get your first levels, or move on to the next spots for more EXP. Arrows: Holy or Fire. Watch out for Familiars! Zombies move slowly, so you can kite them (kiting means backing off after each attack so the monster can't get close to you). Turn off /nc whenever you're kiting, it stops your character from attacking continuously. Just type /nc to toggle it on or off.
Morroc Fields / Byalan
Easy
Hodes and Mukas move a bit slower than you. Combine that with your attack range and you'll be untouchable on this map. Arrows: Fire. Kite Mukas and Hodes for easy leveling. Turn off /nc whenever you're kiting, it stops your character from attacking continuously. Just type /nc to toggle it on or off.
Orc Dungeon/Field
Medium
You can come to this map once you've maxed Double Strafe(Double strafing). Be careful, monsters can spawn right next to you. Arrows: Fire. At low levels, avoid the Orc Lady, since they have increased AGI and can be hard to kite. Use Double Strafe(Double strafing) whenever you can. You can also enter the orc dungeon and hunt Zenorcs (bring Holy Arrow).
Yuno / Mjolnir Fields
Medium
This is a well-known leveling spot for ranged classes, because Geographers don't move. As an Archer, it's a breeze for you! Arrows: Fire. Keep your distance from Geographers so you don't take damage. If you have Arrow Repel, keep the Geographers apart from each other, because they heal the monsters around them. Watch out for Punk, Harpy and Deviling, they'll kill you.
Clock Tower
Medium
Once you can kill the High Orcs, you're ready to level here. Arrows: Fire and Ice. For High Orcs, use Ice Arrow. For Orc Archers, use Fire Arrow. Bring potions. Use Arrow Repel to keep monsters away from you. Watch out for aggressive monsters.
