MVP Hunting
ReClassic's MVP hunting brings together three systems: the
regular MVPs, the
Enraged MVPs, and the
MVP Ranking. The Enraged MVPs share the same spots and respawn times as the natural MVPs, but offer their own challenge and rewards.

How Enraged MVPs enter the game
The Enraged one
spawns after the regular MVP, as an extra boss on the same map.
- The field MVP always spawns in its regular version.
- When the regular one is defeated, the server announces to everyone that the Enraged version will awaken on that map 10 minutes later.
- The Enraged one awakens at a random point on the same map.
- Each map has at most one Enraged version of each MVP. While it's alive, defeating the regular one doesn't call another.
- If nobody fights the Enraged one within 1 hour, it disappears from the map and the server announces it. It never disappears in the middle of a fight: it only leaves at full health and without taking damage in the last minute. The next kill of the regular one calls a new one.
- The regular MVP keeps spawning at its usual time and place. The Enraged one doesn't take its spot.
- If the server restarts during the wait, that awakening is cancelled.
- In Guild Dungeons, the MVPs covered by the system keep always spawning as Enraged and don't have the 1 hour deadline.
Wounded Morroc has a Mark, a Coin, and an Enraged version registered, but its field spawn is currently disabled. In the meantime, its Enraged version doesn't awaken in the field.
How to identify an Enraged one
When it appears, the Enraged MVP:
- keeps the rage visual effect around its body, the same one seen on the monsters in `lhz_dun03`; this visual doesn't apply the ATK bonus from the Rage skill;
- gets the red slot 4 aura at its feet;
- keeps the original MVP's appearance;
- shows up with “Enraged” in its name;
- is announced globally along with the map where it awoke.
Strength and behavior
The Enraged version was designed to be group content, not just a version with more HP.
| Trait | Enraged MVP |
|---|
| Resistance | 4x the original's HP, 90% reduction on all damage taken, and a soft cap against burst hits |
| Attacks | Up to 10,000 ATK, has 2x the original value and attacks 25% more often. Above that, only 25% of the excess counts, up to a maximum of 15,000 ATK. Basic attack pressure never exceeds 20,000 raw ATK per second; its hits don't miss due to FLEE or perfect dodge |
| Tankability | No single hit from the Enraged one takes more than 30% of a player's maximum HP. The limit is applied after DEF, MDEF, Guard, and other reductions |
| Movement | Moves faster than the original, but preserves room to react |
| Skills | Inherits the original MVP's skill set, uses skills more often, and waits less between uses |
| Summons | Keeps exactly the same subordinates and amounts as the original MVP |
| Casting | Its casts aren't interrupted by damage |
| Charge | While chasing a target, it can cast for 0.6 to 1.8 seconds, advance, and deal damage. The cooldown is 9 seconds |
| Common kit | Can heal itself, hit in an area, and react to ranged attacks. The permanent rage is purely visual
|
Orc Lord stays at its reference of 7,400 to 8,300 ATK and a 998 ms interval. The additional limits exist so that MVPs that were originally much faster or stronger, like Ifrit and Beelzebub, remain fightable by a prepared party without producing absurd values.
How the soft damage cap works
The protection against burst hits is calculated
after the overall 90% reduction. It applies to every skill and attack, with no special exception by class:
- The part of the hit equal to the first 20% of maximum HP goes through in full.
- Above that, only 25% of the excess damage goes through.
- The final result never exceeds 40% of maximum HP in a single hit.
| Damage after the overall reduction | Damage applied |
|---|
| 10% of HP | 10% of HP |
| 20% of HP | 20% of HP |
| 40% of HP | 25% of HP |
| 60% of HP | 30% of HP |
| 100% of HP or more | up to 40% of HP
|
This rule keeps a single hit from ending the fight, but it doesn't discard all the damage above 20%. This way, high-impact skills like
Guillotine Fist keep rewarding a build focused on burst damage and stay competitive with the sustained damage of other classes.
Hunt rewards
Enraged MVP
- Delivers 1 Mark of that MVP directly to the inventory of the MVP-er, that is, whoever dealt the most damage.
- The winning party can generate up to 3 additional Marks, one for each of the three top-scoring helpers. The limit is 4 Marks total, without repeating the MVP-er.
- The score combines real participation: every 0.5% of the boss's HP dealt in damage is worth 5 points, up to 50; every 50% of your own HP taken in damage is worth 5, up to 20; every 50% of your own HP in effective healing is worth 5, up to 20; each useful buff is worth 2, up to 10. You need to add up at least 5 points.
- The maximum chances are 85% for the first helper, 45% for the second, and 20% for the third. Each placement has its own roll: one failing doesn't take away the others' chance. Each placement's score defines how close it gets to the maximum.
- Only members of the winning party who are alive, on the same map, and within 15 cells of the boss when it dies count. Damage from a homunculus, pet, mercenary, elemental, or summon counts for its owner.
- The participant needs to have contributed in the final 30 seconds of the fight.
- Each machine validated by the anti-cheat counts only once. An alternate account on the MVP-er's machine, an unvalidated client, or a dead, far away, or parked character generates no chance and gets no extra Mark. The MVP-er's base Mark is still guaranteed.
- Marks are tradeable.
- Common drops and EXP from the original MVP are doubled. The card's natural drop chance is not doubled.
Enraged Cards
Each Enraged MVP has its own card, which doesn't drop from the monster: it comes from the
Enraged Tome, in Prontera, in exchange for 300 Marks of that same MVP. The Enraged MVP can still drop the common card, at its natural chance. Effects, the Tome, and MVP Tokens are covered in
MvP Cards.
Classic Character
When a
regular MVP is defeated with no ReClassic character taking part, the Classic Character gets its own incentives:
- 10x MVP EXP;
- 2x on drops;
- the card's natural drop chance gets no special bonus;
- 10% chance to receive that MVP's 1 Million Zeny Coin directly in the inventory.
The coin is worth 1,000,000 zeny when converted with the Marketplace Cash Manager. Since it's delivered directly, Chewing Gum and other drop bonuses don't change this chance. ReClassic characters don't receive the coin.
The different effigies also take part in the Marketplace Cash Manager's cosmetic raffle. All of them have the same value; rarity only indicates which ones show up more often in the raffle.
Coin and Mark Catalog
Each MVP on the list has its own Mark and Coin. The
red Mark comes from the Enraged one and the
1 Million Zeny Coin can come from the regular one being defeated by a Classic Character. The ID helps confirm the item received during testing.

MVP Ranking
The site's overall ranking records real kills. During the monthly season, the standings use points: every regular MVP is worth
1 point, the Enraged MVP is worth
5 points, and the Enraged MVP of a Temporal Dungeon is worth
10 points. The regular version of the temporal bosses is worth 1 point, like any regular MVP.
| Kill | Points in the season |
|---|
| Regular MVP | 1 point |
| Enraged MVP | 5 points |
| Enraged MVP of a Temporal Dungeon (list below) | 10 points
|
MVPs worth 10 points
Only the
Enraged version of these bosses is worth 10 points. Their normal version is worth 1 point, like any regular MVP.
- Enraged Detardeurus
- Enraged Valkyrie Randgris
- Enraged Ifrit
- Enraged Beelzebub
- Enraged Egnigem Cenia
- Enraged Nightmare Terror
- Enraged Ktullanux
- Enraged RSX 0806 Reactivated
- Enraged Memory of Thanatos
- Enraged Time Holder
- Enraged Gorynych
Only kills authorized by the system count toward the ranking. Points are added up per account, even if the player switches between characters.
Season period
The monthly season starts at
8:00 PM on day 4 and ends at
8:00 PM on day 20. The top five placers automatically receive their rewards via RodEx at the close.
Rewards

Players who stand out in the ranking at the end of each season will receive prizes according to their position:
Notes
- The prize is delivered automatically via RodEx (the game's mail) at the end of each season to the Top 5 of the ranking.
- The rewards for Top 1, 2, and 3 arrive in a Box of the MvP Ranking (due to RodEx's 5-attachment limit). Use the Box in your inventory to receive all the listed items.
- The MVP Tokens arrive in a second, separate RodEx. Each Token turns into 1 Enraged Mark of your choice at the Enraged Tome, in Prontera (300 Marks of the same MVP materialize the Enraged Card).
- In case of a tie in score, the player who reached that score first will be prioritized.
- After each season ends, the points accumulated in the ranking will be reset for the start of the next one.
- Only 1 character per person can be rewarded in the Ranking.
- Any kind of account-sharing during the MvP Ranking is forbidden. Players caught sharing PCs and IPs to gain an advantage in the MvP Ranking will be disqualified.
