Progression Guide
Progression Guide
ReClassic has changed a lot compared to classic Ragnarok. This guide shows the way, phase by phase: where to earn experience, what equipment to use and where to go next. For your class's stats and skills, see Beginner Builds.
Summary
| Phase | Level | Where to earn experience | Equipment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Early game | 1 to 60 | Training Castle Island, Awakening Ritual, Eden Group quests | Beginner and Experienced Hunter Set |
| Mid game | 60 to 90 | Eden quests (41 to 70 and 71 to 98), Training, Maya's Lair | Superior Hunter Set and your class headgear |
| Endgame | 90 to 99 and beyond | Temporal Dungeons, 90 to 99 quests, Instance Hub, Crossing | Enchants, cards and gear from the new dungeons |
Early game (level 1 to 60)
1. The Training Castle Island
Every new character is born on Training Castle Island. Follow the masters' route: at the gate, Crusader Otávio takes your character to base level 7 and job level 7, and the other masters hand out your starting equipment and supplies.
2. Rewards for newcomers
- 🔹 The Beginner's Journey is 7 rewards in the Log In and Earn window, one per day you log in, starting with a VIP+ Ticket.
- 🔹 The Welcome Box is level 1 of the Beginner's Pass: 15 days of VIP, a headgear for your class at full power (+7) for 7 days, the Adventurer's Magic Book and consumables for your first hunts.
- 🔹 Players who join through the web client get 1 Training Tonic, with up to 860,000 Training EXP to distribute at the Training Master.
3. The Awakening Ritual
The Adventurer's Magic Book performs the Awakening Ritual: it picks your 2nd class and takes your character straight to base level 60, with stat and skill points ready to distribute. It works for Novices up to level 40, once per account, and cannot be undone. Details in Beginner's Journey.
Choose your class first. Beginner Builds has the builds the server's high level players actually use.
Prefer the classic path? Become a 1st class at job level 10 and a 2nd class from job level 40. Each class page has the step by step quest (see Class Guide).
4. Join the Eden Group
The Eden Group is the new player's home base. Talk to the Eden Secretary to join and receive the Eden Brooch, which takes you back to headquarters whenever you want.
- 🔹 Hunting quests: the boards at headquarters give EXP, Hunting Coins and items. Eden teleports you to the quest map.
- 🔹 The boards go by level range: 10 to 35, 26 to 50, 41 to 70, 71 to 98 and 90 to 99. Always take the one for your range.
- 🔹 Turning in the quest to the field helper gives +50% reward the first time on each map.
5. The Eden Hunter Set
The Eden Shopkeeper sells the Hunter Set: armor, footgear, garment, ring, clip and a weapon for your class. The pieces weigh 0, have no level cap and cannot be traded or sold. You buy one tier at a time, in order.
| Set | Level | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner | 10 | free |
| Experienced | 30 | 30 Hunting Coins |
| Superior | 60 | 60 Hunting Coins |
You choose the weapon when you open the Set box. The Sage, for example, picks between Staff and Book, and the Bard between Bow and Violin. The full table of who picks what is in Hunter Set Weapons. Picked the wrong one? The Shopkeeper swaps the Set weapon for free.
Did the Ritual and still don't have the Set? Get the Beginner tier for free from the Shopkeeper and collect Coins from quests (30, then 60) to reach Superior.
Mid game (level 60 to 90)
The Superior Set is the foundation
The Superior Hunter Set is the most used equipment on the server, even at high level. On 18/10/2026, among active characters level 85 or higher with armor equipped, 45 of 120 were wearing the Eden Group Uniform III. The second most used armor showed up on 14.
Complete the Superior Set before spending zeny on other equipment. Then replace it piece by piece as better items for your build come along.
Where to level
- 🔹 Eden quests from 41 to 70 and from 71 to 98: the simplest way to level, and you collect Hunting Coins along the way.
- 🔹 Each class page has a Leveling Spots section, with maps suited to the class's style.
- 🔹 Maya's Lair: an instance for 2 or 3 adventurers, with no level requirement. Open the Instance Hub with @fila and join the queue solo.
- 🔹 With a Battle Pass active, the monsters you kill also level up the pass, and each pass level pays a reward.
Training
From level 50, the Training System trains your 6 stats on the Eden Targets and Dummies and grants permanent bonuses. A session can last many hours, with the character standing in place while it trains. The Training Tonic distributes Training EXP at any level.
Your class headgear
Each class has a headgear made for it. The Welcome version comes in the Welcome Box, +7 for 7 days, and the Graduate's Gift adds another 14 days. Assistant Alice, at Eden, swaps the model for free. The versions that never expire are in Perpetual and Unstable Cash Headgears.
Endgame (level 90 to 99 and beyond)
Temporal Dungeons
Scientist Edward, in Prontera, opens the Temporal Dungeons: twelve dungeons from level 90 (or 85 after your first Crossing). Entry costs an Abyssalite Fragment. Choose by the monsters' level range and the map's element.
Instances
At the Instance Hub (@fila):
- 🔹 Old Glast Heim: party of 4, level 90 or higher with the first Crossing done or in progress.
- 🔹 Endless Tower: party of 4, level 99 or with one Crossing. A hundred floors of monsters and MVPs.
- 🔹 The Lairs put your party against an MVP in a room of your own.
Rebirth Crossing
At base level 99 with job level 50, the Rebirth Crossing makes your character reborn as a level 1 Novice with permanent stat bonuses. There are up to 3 Crossings, each with a bigger EXP penalty. After all three, the Nightmare Biolab opens the Episode 3 content.
Upgrading your equipment
After the Superior Set, your equipment grows in layers. Start with what your build benefits from most:
| System | What it does |
|---|---|
| Abyssalite | The rarest forging ore in the game, used by several of the systems below. Its Fragments also pay the entry to the Temporal Dungeons. |
| Abyss Orb Enchanting | Enchantress Rebeca, in Prontera, enchants equipment with fixed bonuses. |
| Arcane Infusion | Random stats on a weapon or equipment, keeping refine and cards. |
| Arcane Forge | A damage bonus against one race on your weapon, like a card. |
| Abyss Enchants | An enchant engraved on the weapon by the Abyss Lapidary. |
| Insignia System | An insignia engraved in the 3rd slot of a compatible piece of equipment. |
| Star Divinity | Trades Stars, Abyssalite and materials for equipment pieces from the new dungeons. |
| Card Sets | The right cards in the right slots unlock an extra bonus. |
| MvP Cards | MVP cards: regular, Cheffenia Sealed and Enraged. |
For arena PvP there is Cheffenia, with the Challenger Helms for each class, and for guilds there is the War of Emperium.
